1121/1509 Rice represents the finest combination of two of Pakistan’s most prestigious Basmati varieties — 1121 and 1509. Both varieties are celebrated for their extraordinary extra-long grain, delicate floral fragrance and exceptional cooking quality. When blended and processed together, they produce a premium rice that offers the best characteristics of both varieties — extraordinary length, beautiful appearance, mild Basmati aroma and excellent cooking results.

The 1509 variety is a relatively newer Basmati variety that has quickly gained popularity in international markets for its extra-long grain, pleasant fragrance and consistent quality. It is often processed as a steam rice, giving it a slightly firmer texture and longer shelf life compared to traditional white Basmati. When combined with 1121, the result is a premium steam Basmati rice that commands strong demand across the Middle East, Europe and North America.

Grown in the fertile plains of Punjab, Pakistan, both 1121 and 1509 varieties benefit from the region’s rich alluvial soil, clean Himalayan river water and ideal growing conditions. The paddy is carefully harvested, processed and aged to enhance fragrance and cooking quality before milling at our Port Qasim facility.
Kassam Trading Company processes 1121/1509 Rice at our own mill at Port Qasim using modern color sorter machines, polishing units and packaging lines to ensure consistent quality, brilliant appearance and minimal impurities in every shipment. Our mill has a processing capacity of 9,000 MT per month, giving buyers confidence in our ability to fulfil large and consistent orders on time.

Every batch is cleaned, sorted, polished and sortexed before packing, ensuring it meets international export quality standards. Our in-house quality control team inspects every shipment before it leaves our facility, and we offer SGS or Bureau Veritas pre-shipment inspection on request.
