IRRI-9 and C9 are two of Pakistan’s most popular non-basmati rice varieties, widely grown across Punjab and Sindh provinces. Both varieties are known for their medium to long grain size, white colour, clean appearance and consistent cooking quality. The C9 Sella variety in particular is highly valued in export markets for its parboiled golden appearance, firm texture and long shelf life — making it an ideal choice for buyers in the Middle East, East Africa and West Africa.

C9 Sella Rice undergoes a parboiling process before milling, which gives it a distinctive golden colour, enhances its nutritional value and makes it more resistant to breakage during transport. This makes C9 Sella one of the most durable and reliable rice varieties for long-distance export, particularly to African markets where transit times can be lengthy.

IRRI-9 is a high-yielding variety that produces a clean, white, long grain rice with excellent milling recovery. It is widely consumed across South Asia and exported to markets in the Gulf, Middle East and Southeast Asia. Its consistent grain size, good cooking quality and competitive pricing make it a popular choice for importers and distributors worldwide.

Kassam Trading Company processes both IRRI-9 and C9 Sella Rice at our own mill at Port Qasim using modern color sorter machines, polishing units and packaging lines to ensure consistent quality and minimal impurities in every shipment. Our mill has a processing capacity of 9,000 MT per month, giving buyers confidence in our ability to fulfil large and consistent orders on time.

Every batch is cleaned, sorted, polished and sortexed before packing, ensuring it meets international export quality standards. Our in-house quality control team inspects every shipment before it leaves our facility, and we offer SGS or Bureau Veritas pre-shipment inspection on request.

We supply IRRI-9 and C9 Rice to importers, distributors, wholesalers, retail chains and food manufacturers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Malaysia, Singapore and beyond.
